I know so many of you out there have wondered what is happening with the F&F boutique and I am excited to say I can finally tell you! We seriously had to wait for a few magical cosmic alignments to occur to get to it all in place and I have had to be sooo patient. As you know so far Feather & Fox is moving. The super-duper awesome part is we are moving into Langley! Wait, there's more...Our partner in all things Fine Balance Imaging Studios is moving too! We are moving the entire enterprise into the old Lind's Jewelry storefront on 1st street and will be enjoying it's wonderful 2000 square feet to make and create to our heart's content. We will offer an expanded F&F boutique with all the quirky, fun, meaningful, beautiful things that touch your heart and hopefully expand your brain. PLUS, we will be merged with our full-service print shop with some super amazing expanded services we could not offer you in our smaller space at Bayview. Joe and I will finally be able to work in close proximity on our various collaborations. We are very excited to be co-operating and managing all of our business entities together.
And if that's not enough, FBIS has its own amazing announcement about a merging of services with Whidbey Island Printing (formerly Boomerang), AND wonderful collaborations all around benefiting tele-commuters, local businesses and artists. It's almost too much!!!
Before we can open our doors again, however, we are embarking on a huge remodel of the new space. The space is mostly perfect but needs some TLC and the F&F touch of whimsy you have all come to love. We hope to finish out the remodel mid-October and will follow that with a big party for the neighborhood. FBIS will still reside in the upstairs space at Bayview Corner until October. It is a huge undertaking but we couldn't be more ready to jump into all the new adventures this space will offer.
We are so excited to join in the Langley family of businesses and we hope we will be a welcome addition to all the new and exciting changes happening in Langley recently. If you happen to walk by and see us swinging sledgehammers over the next few weeks, just knock. We would love to say hello!
We <3 Langley! See you soon and look for periodic updates on our progress!
